About us
The Good Shepherd is a lively and friendly parish church with an inclusive welcome, situated right alongside Shoreham beach, in-between two local nature reserves.
We are rooted in God’s earth and our local community, and long for a peaceful and just world.
We are a creative, relaxed, and open-hearted congregation, with the sacraments at the centre of our worship. We seek to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation. There is joyful spirit to life here at the Good Shepherd, and a sense of adventure about the Christian journey. We delight in the changing seasons of the church year and how they deepen our spiritual life.
We are part of a benefice with St Mary de Haura in Shoreham town centre. The Good Shepherd is open most days for quiet contemplation 9am – 5pm.
