Help Needed Serving Teas and Coffees

We know that you all really enjoy refreshments after the 10.00am service
and the very valuable time to
 spend with friends.

However, Rita & Terry would love some help in the kitchen.

Over the last several months,
the numbers helping have fallen;
there is a
desperate need for new blood.

So please, if you can help just once a month,
have a word with Rita, Terry or Keith
after the 10.00am service or in the hall during
coffee.

They will be delighted!

Bob Caffyn's Cards

If you have old greetings card lying around,
collecting dust, why not give them to
Bob Caffyn?

He will recycle them into new cards
to sell and raise funds for our church.

As the demands on the Foodbank grow, so have the number of donation points - there are now 13 throughout Shoreham and Southwick. To find the one closest to you, please visit:

Dolls Needed: A Request from Andrea Weller

As you may know, I work at Worthing Hospital.
We often have patients who have dementia.
I would like to have a supply of dressed dolls to give out
to such patients in order to calm them.

They do not need to be new but must be in good condition.

If you can help, please bring them to church
and give them to Sheila Powell.

Thanks in anticipation,
Andrea

Altar Servers at the 10:00am Sunday Service

The number of people able to act as Acolytes and Crucifers
has dropped; we would dearly like new members to join us.

The duties are not onerous, and these roles give an opportunity
not only to serve the church but also to develop relationships
within the church with both lay and ordained members.

If you are interested, or would like more information,
please speak to Judy Short after the service.

Church Cleaning: Volunteers Urgently Needed

Pauline would dearly like help with the church cleaning
which she had previously been doing almost single-handedly.

Some volunteers have kindly come forward,
but more are needed.

Ideally, she would like to hear from people prepared to
form teams of two for the cleaning of church and vestry
one week every month.

If you can help, please speak to her -
and make her a very happy bunny!

Craft and Fellowship Group: Appeal for Materials

The Craft and Fellowship Group need:

  • buttons
  • wool
  • embroidery silks
  • ribbons
  • remnants of material/lining material

If you are able to provide any of these items, we will be very grateful.

Please speak to Sheila or Angela
